Modified Kick Wheel
This is our kick wheel, it has a 140 pound flywheel at the bottom. The wheel spins wonderfully smooth and we have attached a motor to get the flywheel up to speed.
We recently replaced the kick wheel with a more modern Shimpo variable speed wheel, we thought we would leave the webpage here for anyone interested in the kick wheel.
The motor spins a hockey puck and when you press the lever down it contacts the flywheel driving it up to speed.
A lot of people like this wheel because it is good size and they don't feel cramped.
