Coiling

What?: using coil pieces to create hundred of differents shapes and building out of it. Coiling is very versatile

Step 1

To start, slab a piece of clay and use anything you can find to cut a perfect circle.

Step 2

Then, you have to make snakes like with play-doh when you were in kindergarden. We will use the first snake to make the first layer of your piece.

Step 3

Score and slip the bottom of the slab piece, and glue your snake on.

Step 4

Blend the first snake into the bottom piece, and then you are ready to start!

Step 5

With your other snakes, you can make all kinds of shapes (be creatvive) and score and slip them on your piece.

Step 6

Blend the inside of your piece so it won't all fall appart, and build on as you want. Have FUN!
