SHIMPO RK-WHISPER
This is the SHIMPO RK-WHISPER so named I suppose because it is sooo quiet. Danielle loves this wheel, it was her first wheel and remains the favourite. The DC motor and direct drive make it very smooth and controllable.
The wheel will turn either direction, counter clockwise is considered conventional in North America.
This wheel will spin 100 pounds of clay at 0 - 250 RPM. The drive motor develops approx 1/2 horsepower.
The foot pedal is attached to the base of the machine and it has a handle which may be easier for some people to use.
